My Results from the Three Day Military Diet

Hey guys,
Before I tell you my results, I want to make sure you understand a few  things. This diet is based on the foods which them make chemicals in your body. It is all about the right balance. So if you add anything to the diet, you mess up the chemically proven diet.
Also, this diet was made for the military. These guys work their butts off every day. So if you aren't working your butt off in the gym, it's not going to work as well.

Unfortunately, I have to tell my readers, that I added a few things, as you noticed yesterday, and I wasn't working  my butt off each day. Cleaning and Christmas shopping, as much as we would love to count them, aren't the best forms of working out.

Therefore, I have very minimum results.
Check back in a week and a half when I do this diet again, after Christmas, with my boyfriend. He will be here pushing me to stay strong and we will be working out together.

If you have an awesome story from this diet, please share it in the comments or e-mail me. I'd love to hear from you.

Here are the results:

Lost- 3 pounds

But I must say, 3 is better than 0. ;)
Keep it up! Stay strong!! Lose more than me ;) I'll be back at it soon to lose more than you ;)

Good Luck :D

Three Day Military Diet: Day 3

Hey all, well this is the last day on the diet. Time to finish well.

Day 3:
Breakfast- 5 Saltine Crackers, 1 Slice of Cheddar Cheese, and 1 Small Apple
(Well, I woke up in the middle of the night in girl pain. I got up and needed medicine. You are supposed to coat your stomach, so I had three saltine crackers. and took medicine. When it came time for breakfast, I only had 4 saltine crackers instead.)
Lunch- 1 Hard Boiled Egg, 1 Slice of  toast
(Now, I have to say. Lunch was good. I was full, and went off and did Christmas shopping. Now, I did go to a Christmas thing, and unfortunately I did have a small snack. A cracker with some dip. Boy, it's difficult doing this diet before Christmas, and while you are having your girl issues. But luckily, I will be doing this again. My boyfriend is coming to town in a week and a half, and we will be doing it together. After this, I will be continuing the cycle. 3 days on diet, 4 days off. I do really like this diet! It makes me feel good, and I already feel lighter ;) we shall see what the results are tomorrow!!)
Dinner- 1 Cup of Tuna, 1/2 Banana, 1 Cup of Vanilla Ice cream

Come back tomorrow to see the final results.

If you decide to take the diet, let us know. Please comment or e-mail.
If you would like to see more details comments and posts, check out DAY 1 of the diet, it has links to where I fund the original diet, and the link to their facebook page!

Thanks for reading!

Three Day Military Diet: Day 2

Well, one day down, two more to go! Yesterday was a big success. Hopefully today will be as well.

Day 2:
Breakfast: 1 egg, 1 toast, 1/2 banana
(Once again this diet continues to surprise me. I keep thinking, that is not enough for, or the right food. But I was wrong. I am full.)
Lunch- 1 cup of cottage cheese (or 1 slice of cheddar cheese) (I started with the cottage and realized it was the worst  thing ever and switched to the cheddar) 1 hard boiled egg, and 5 saltine crackers.
(Well, the surprise diet is gone. Its much harder today. I am much more hungry. I did have a cheat snack earlier :/ but it was only grapes, so hopefully it won't mess up the diet too much.)
Dinner- 2 hot dogs (no buns), 1 cup of broccoli, 1/2 cup of carrots, 1/2 banana, and 1/2 cup of vanilla ice cream.
(Dinner does it for me!! It is just right! I am full, the dinner was tasty, and I cannot wait to see the results!!)

Well, that is all for today! Hope you come back tomorrow to see the final day, and again on Christmas eve to hear the results. :D

Again, if you decide to take  this diet, let me know in the comments or send me an e-mail.

If you would like to see more on this diet, view Day 1 for links.

Good Luck :)

Three Day Military Diet: Day 1

Hey Guys,
So since we haven't died yet today, during the end of the world, what better way to celebrate than to get in shape and take advantage of each new day!

I recently found this diet on pinterest, and  I have decided to give it a try.
Here is what the diet consists of, I will post a link at the bottom so you can see comments and stories from others who have tried it. They also have a facebook page.

Day 1:
Breakfast- 1/2 Grapefruit, 1 Slice of Toast, 2 Tablespoons of Peanut Butter, and Coffee or Tea.
(Upon starting this diet, I thought breakfast was going to be terrible, but I had breakfast over an hour ago, and I am still full. Also,I hate black coffee, but swish down the peanut butter with coffee, and it is good. :) )

Lunch- 1/2 Cup of Tuna, 1 Slice of Toast,, and Coffee or Tea (any brew as long as it is caffeinated)
(So about an hour before my decided time of having lunch, since I am trying to stay full till dinner, I became incredibly hungry. I was worried the lunch menu would not fill me up. I kept downing the water trying to fill my stomach and keep from being extra hungry due to dehydration. Anyways, I put my tuna on top of the toast and it was really good! And, I am full! Shocker.)

Dinner- 3 ounces of any type of meat (tomorrow is two hot dogs, and they sounded good, so I did that tonight as well) 1/2  banana, 1 small apple, 1 cup of green beans, 1 cup of vanilla ice cream! (the ice cream really makes up for the whole day of dieting!! Also, I forgot the green beans when I did it, so I went back and ate them about an hour later. Definitely satisfying :D

This diet is a military diet. It is important you exercise when doing it for maximum results. I have to admit, I did not "exercise today." But I did clean my room and house (including moving furniture) for at least 6 hours. My feet are killing me tonight. Also make sure you are drinking water throughout the day. :D

I am so far LOVING this diet!!!

If you decide to take this diet as well, let me know! Post in the comments or e-mail me!! I'd love to hear you story and share this journey with you.

Quest Bars

I've recently been getting into "freebies." Freeflys.com has really been awesome. I recently received my sample of Quest Bars. Most protein bars are disgusting. However, when I tried the chocolate bar, I have to say, while it wasn't the most tasteful thing I had eaten, it was good for a protein bar. It tasted like real chocolate.
Give them a try.  :)

Workout Groups

Hey guys,
So I have to tell you how awesome it is to have people to work out with! Working out requires discipline and organization, two things, well I am not good with, especially in the gym. For me, I need constant encouragement  and people pushing me to do the absolute best I can do.
Including me, I workout with two guys and two girls. I love working out with Mary because she and I are "on a journey together," if you will. She and I can keep each other in check, and tell the other one to get their butts in the gym, if they haven't been in a while (HINT HINT). She and I are best friends, and we love each other. ;) It's good to work out with someone you are incredibly close to, mine is Mary.
For us girls, it is also easier to workout with a guy or two. This keeps you motivated, and makes you want to do your best. For me, I am extremely competitive, so any time one of the guys says for me to try something new, I (almost) always accept the challenge head on. Do 15 reps instead of 10, alright, I got this.
I do have to admit, when it comes to working out abs, I do not enjoy accepting challenges. Oh my heavens!!! My abs are killing me today!!
I also find it much easier to workout when I keep to my water intake. My cousin, the personal trainer, suggests you drink half you body weight in water each day. So lets say you are 100 lbs (dang you're tiny,) you should be drinking at least 50 ounces of water a day! This seems like a lot! Try putting your water in a gallon.
Well, I think that is all for today.
If you need someone to work out with, and you can go to CCU's gym, e-mail me or comment on here and we can see if times work out. OR maybe someone else needs a workout buddy too. Maybe you'll find them in the comments. :)

Live Long and Prosper

I'm still on breakfast this morning but try starting your morning with warm lemon water. Ill post the benefits for you later.
Along with my water I am having a peanut butter nutrition shake! Yummy!!!
